Even though Prime Minister Mark Carney says his main priorities are creating jobs, improving peace and security, and building essential mineral supply chains, issues like US tariffs and the Middle East and Ukraine conflicts are expected to be discussed.

The summit will take place at the mountain resort of Kananaskis, some 90 kilometers west of Calgary.
