The unfortunate event happened on Charsadda’s Ghani Khan Road when unidentified attackers on a motorcycle opened fire on a car, according to police officials. This led to the martyrdom of a police officer and the serious injury of a Health Department employee.
Farooq, a police officer who was assigned to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office, has been identified as the murdered officer. After the shooting, the assailants were able to escape.
According to police, the injured person and the body of the deceased cop were sent right away to the District Headquarters Hospital.
Fear and terror swept over the region after the occurrence, and police have already begun an investigation and gathered evidence from the location. There is a search going on to find the attackers.
