The Ministry of Interior stated that a female suicide bomber hit a paramilitary force convoy in the Kalat district of Balochistan, killing at least one security forcesman and injuring four others.
“A female suicide bomber targeted an FC convoy in Kalat district, killing at least one FC soldier and injuring four others,” senior administration official Bilal Shabbir told AFP.
A local police spokesman, Habib Babai, also gave AFP confirmation of the toll.
The attack has not been claimed by any group.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi honored the fallen personnel, Attaullah, and denounced the suicide attack on the FC convoy. The minister also offered the soldier’s family his sympathy.
