For the second day in a row, the price of gold fell precipitously both in Pakistan and internationally.
The price of 24 carat gold per tola fell by Rs6,700 on Thursday, to Rs335,200, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. In a same vein, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped to Rs287,379 from Rs5,745.
Significant changes have also occurred in the global gold market, with the price of gold per ounce falling by an additional $67 to $3,168.
The price of a tola of 24-karat silver dropped by Rs105 to Rs3,377 on Thursday, while the price of 10 kilos of silver dropped to Rs 2,895. Meanwhile, the price of silver in Pakistan also declined.
