In the wake of India’s recent Operation Sindoor airstrikes, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has formally denied accusations that there is a radioactive leak from Pakistan’s nuclear facilities.
They claimed that Indian missiles had hit the Kirana Hills in Pakistan’s Sargodha district, causing a radioactive incident. These accusations went viral on social media and some international media sites. The IAEA confirmed, however, that these claims are unsupported by any evidence.
“We are aware of the reports,” said IAEA spokeswoman Fredrik Dahl. There was no radiation leak or leakage from any nuclear facility in Pakistan, according to the IAEA’s information. This declaration seeks to debunk myths and emphasizes the expertise and moderation displayed by both nations in nuclear-related affairs.
