The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) confirmed eight fatalities and 45 injuries in storm-related incidents across the province on Saturday.
In an early report, the PDMA spokeswoman said that exposure to dangerous structures and the collapse of deteriorating buildings were the main causes of deaths.
It further stated that Jhelum had three fatalities, and Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Sialkot, and Mianwali each had one.
Numerous reports of fallen trees and solar panel damage were also made in Lahore during the storm.
According to the PDMA, the impacted families would receive financial support.
