LAHORE: According to authorities, a private airline flight from Karachi to Lahore just escaped a serious mishap on Saturday when it was trapped in a strong storm while trying to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Flight FL-842 had to make a go-around due to severe turbulence in midair and unstable conditions during landing.
There were no bumps or indications of difficulty during the descent. However, everything changed as soon as the plane’s wheels contacted the runway. A passenger described his experience: “A strong sandstorm struck the plane, and the pilot quickly canceled the landing and took off again.”
