LONDON: Tanweer Ahmed, a Pakistani-American businessman, has acknowledged that he met with Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister, multiple times in Adiala Jail last November in hopes of reaching an agreement. However, Khan ultimately chose to use last year’s march on Islamabad, which was led by KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, to achieve his goals.
