KARACHI: As maritime cloud cover continues to affect the weather, the city may get some light rain or drizzle tonight (Wednesday) and tomorrow morning, which could somewhat alleviate the continuing hot.
A weather analyst reports that the sea breeze is blowing normally at a pace of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. Meanwhile, it’s predicted that the sky will stay partially overcast all day.
Although the highest temperature in Karachi today may be between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), excessive humidity levels might make the heat feel much more intense, reaching 40 to 43 degrees Celsius, the expert noted.
