ISLAMABAD: Umar Hayat, the alleged killer of TikToker Sana Yousaf, was placed in jail on a 14-day judicial detention by an Islamabad district and sessions court on Wednesday.
A case was filed against the suspect at Sumbal Police Station under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code, and he was brought before Duty Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shehzad after being taken into custody from Faisalabad yesterday. He has been accused of killing Yousaf at her Islamabad home.
The 17-year-old social media personality, who has over a million followers on multiple platforms, was shot twice Monday night inside her Sector G-13/1 house.
