The yearly development plan and economic targets for the fiscal year 2025–2026 were adopted by the National Economic Council (NEC) on Wednesday.
According to specifics, a 4.2% economic growth objective and a 7.5% inflation target have been set for the next fiscal year.
The prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, presided over the NEC meeting. Senior government officials, the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, and the chief ministers of the four provinces attended the meeting.
