Highlighting Pakistan’s recent diplomatic successes in the context of rising tensions with India, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar conducted a comprehensive press conference on Wednesday.
He attributed the dismantling of India’s regional hegemony narrative and the mobilization of international backing for Islamabad’s stance to Pakistan’s concerted international outreach.

In order to combat Indian propaganda, Dar explained, the government’s high-level visits—such as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s trips to Turkiye, Iran, and Tajikistan and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s mission to the US, the UK, and Brussels—were essential. The bilateral engagements continued with the May 19 visit to China.
