The military’s propaganda wing reported on Wednesday that Pakistan’s security forces had killed 14 terrorists in the Dattakhel region of North Waziristan who belonged to the Fitna-ul-Khawarij insurgent group, which is supported by India.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claims that once reliable intelligence verified the existence of the Indian-sponsored proxy organization in the area, the operation was initiated on the evenings of June 2 and 3. Following a hard gunfight, the terrorists’ stronghold was successfully targeted and destroyed.
The ISPR stated that the security forces are still dedicated to eliminating terrorism and guaranteeing national security, and that a clearance operation is presently in progress to get rid of any lingering dangers in the region.
