Today’s weather in Islamabad is predicted by the Met Department to be hot and partly cloudy, with high gusts and thunderstorms anticipated in a number of arid regions.
While several areas in Punjab and KP prepare for possible showers, high winds, and perhaps hailstorms, the plains of KP are predicted to experience the most intense heat.

The Met Office predicts that Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Mardan may get rain and severe winds. Showers with strong winds may also occur in Swabi, Peshawar, Kohat, and Kurram. There are isolated areas around the province where hailstorms could occur.
