Police confirmed Wednesday that there had been a bomb at former Senator Abbas Afridi’s Kohat outhouse.
Initial reports state that the type of explosion is still being investigated. According to police, the incident injured three persons, including Abbas Afridi.
Afridi was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and an inquiry is currently underway.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Zahid Ullah claims that an explosion in Kohat was caused by a suspected gas leak.
