PESHAWAR: On Wednesday, residents of the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were startled by a minor earthquake with a Richter Scale intensity of 4.7.
The Seismological Centre provided information about the earthquake, stating that the epicentre was in the Hindu Kush mountain range of Afghanistan and that Peshawar experienced minor shakes.
The announcement also stated that the earthquake was 211 kilometers deep.
About a month has passed since a 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck Islamabad and many KP regions, including Mardan, Swat, Nowshera, Swabi, and North Waziristan.
