In relation to an indictment filed in the Southern District of New York, Canada has extradited Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, also known as “Shahzeb Jadoon,” a 20-year-old Pakistani national, to the United States.
Khan, who was extradited on Tuesday, is expected to appear in court later today on charges of trying to commit acts of terrorism that cross national borders and attempting to give material support and resources to Daesh, a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO).
“The foreign terrorist organisation Daesh remains a clear and present danger to the American people, and our Jewish citizens are especially targeted by evil groups like these” , Pamela Bondi, the attorney general, stated.
