After declaring over the weekend that his relationship with Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of both firms, was ended, President Donald Trump stated on Monday that he had no plans to shut down Starlink at the White House but may transfer his Tesla off-site.
“We won’t be moving the Tesla around much with Starlink, but I might do it with the Tesla. Referring to the satellite internet provider that offers high-speed broadband access, Trump told reporters, “It’s a good service.” It belongs to Musk’s SpaceX company.
Trump claimed to have bought a red Tesla Model S from Musk, a close ally at the time, in March.
After a public dispute broke out between two individuals last week, a White House official hinted that Trump would remove it.
