Stormzy’s film production company has recently been created!
By announcing his production business, Merky Films, and confirming that he will be starring in its debut, the British grime artist made his foray into the film industry.
Big Man, the title of its first short film, which was directed by Oscar-winning Aneil Karia, will be released on June 18 and streamed on YouTube.
In the major part, Stormzy would play Tenzman, who is described as “a former rap star now navigating a restless and uncertain chapter of his life.”
“It captures the joy, the spirit, and the fearless energy of youth and I hope it inspires you to dream big,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
