Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, received a severe threat from US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, who stated that American intelligence is aware of his whereabouts and might target him. However, he emphasized that this was not being done “for now.”
Late Tuesday night, Trump said in a string of social media messages, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding.” Although he is safe there, he is an easy target. For the time being, we won’t kill him.
Trump claimed that the US had “complete and total control of the skies over Iran” in a different post moments earlier.
