India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed US President Donald Trump that India will never consent to third-party mediation in its dispute with Pakistan.
Misri claimed that Modi made the remark during a 35-minute phone call with Trump.
“India’s fight against terrorism will continue, and Prime Minister Modi made it clear to President Trump that India would not engage in any trade negotiations amid ongoing terrorist threats,” Misri added.
The Prime Minister made it plain that India would not participate in any trade agreements while concentrating on counterterrorism efforts, according to Misri.
