LONDON: According to testimony at an inquest, two Rawalpindi sisters sadly drowned on June 11 while visiting Eryri National Park in North Wales with friends from their university.
The Watkin Path, a well-traveled road to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), is where Hajra Zahid, 29, and Haleema Zahid, 25, were dragged from water pools.
Their bodies were transported to Pakistan on Wednesday after their funeral prayers were said in Northern England on Tuesday evening.
Four months ago, the sisters traveled to the UK to attend Chester University to complete their master’s degrees.
