With 200 million telecom subscribers in Pakistan, Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja has launched a variety of efforts to increase digital access and inclusion in the country.
The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to increasing internet access and mobile broadband coverage throughout Pakistan while speaking at a ceremony held to commemorate this important milestone. She affirmed that plans are in motion to hold an early mobile broadband spectrum auction, describing it as a crucial component in bolstering the nation’s digital infrastructure in conjunction with the National Fibration Policy.
