Iran has acknowledged that, as part of a retaliatory military action earlier today, its forces launched a precision hit against an Israeli Military Command, Control & Intelligence Headquarters and another important location. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi made the announcement in a formal social media message.
Araghchi claims that the strike only slightly damaged the Soroka Military Hospital, a nearby establishment that had already been mostly evacuated. In Gaza, where he accused Israel of committing genocide and destroying almost all Palestinian medical facilities, he explained that the hospital mostly provided care for Israeli soldiers engaged in continuous war operations.
“A small portion of the nearby, and mostly evacuated, Soroka Military Hospital sustained superficial damage as a result of the blast wave,” Araghchi said.
