Iran’s deputy foreign minister said his nation was prepared to defend itself in the event of an escalation and cautioned the United States on Thursday against getting involved in the conflict to support its partner Israel.
“Iran will have to use its tools to both teach a lesson to aggressors and defend its national security and national interests if the United States wants to actively enter the field in favor of the Zionist regime,” deputy foreign minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated, as reported by state television.
“Of course, all the options are available to our military decision makers,” he continued.
