Pre-monsoon rains are expected to fall in different parts of the country between June 20 and June 23, with sporadic breaks, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
In addition to dust storms, rainstorms, and thundershowers, isolated locations may also see significant rainfall and hailstorms during the anticipated wet spell.
The Met Office reported that humid currents were moving into the country’s upper and central regions from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
Additionally, on June 20, a westerly wave was predicted to move toward the upper regions, which will help create unstable weather conditions around this time.
