Monday saw a fresh round of Israeli aerial bombings targeting locations in northern Tehran, including Iran’s infamous Evin Prison. The strikes took place during a quick military skirmish between Iran and Israel.
According to Iran’s judiciary, parts of Tehran’s Evin Prison were destroyed by Israeli strikes.
According to the judiciary’s Mizan Online website, “projectiles unfortunately struck Evin prison, causing damage to parts of the facility in the latest attack by the Zionist regime on Tehran.”
According to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, the military is attacking Tehran, including the Evin Prison, which he claims houses opponents of the Islamic Republic and political prisoners.
