ISLAMABAD: Five judges from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) have filed an intra-court appeal (ICA) against the Supreme Court’s ruling stating that judges from other high courts were to be transferred in accordance with the Constitution.
Justices Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, Babar Sattar, Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan, and Saman Riffat Imtiaz of the IHC have all submitted the petition.
In February of this year, Justice Muhammad Asif from the Balochistan High Court (BHC), Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro from the Sindh High Court (SHC), and Justice Sardar Mohammad Sarfraz Dogar from the Lahore High Court (LHC) were transferred to the IHC.
