ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with senior politician and former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday to talk about the current political climate in the nation.
The premier paid Nisar a visit at his home in Islamabad and asked how he was feeling. According to insiders, the discussion covered a variety of topics, including matters of shared interest and the current political climate in the nation.
After growing disenchanted with the party’s leadership after the Panama crisis in 2016, Nisar ended his 35-year affiliation with the PML-N in 2019.
Nisar explicitly declared that he was not a member of the PML-N during a press conference held at Wah Cantonment on May 5, 2019.
