As part of the continuing post-Hajj operation, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has stated that 42,000 pilgrims are anticipated to return to Pakistan tomorrow, July 2.
109 aircraft have already brought 24,000 pilgrims back to Pakistan, according to PIA management. Utilizing aircraft from the national carrier’s fleet, such as Boeing 777s and Airbus A320s, the post-Hajj operation is presently in progress.
The PIA management has set July 10 as the end date of the Hajj return operation.
Separately, it was announced a few days ago that the Ministry of Religious Affairs had formally started the required registration procedure for pilgrims doing the Hajj in 2026.
The ministry states that there is now no registration fee needed and that registration will remain open until July 9.
