In response to the recent deaths brought on by Israeli aggression, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a visit to Iran’s Embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday to show support for the Iranian government and people. In honor of the Iranians killed in the assaults, he signed the book of condolences.
Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam and senior embassy officials welcomed the PM, who was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and the foreign secretary.
The prime minister expressed his deepest sympathies and praised the Iranian people’s bravery and fortitude in the face of hardship. He also wished Iran’s president and supreme leader well and prayed for the injured to recover quickly.
