On day four of the first test in Bulawayo on Tuesday, a much-improved South Africa crushed hosts Zimbabwe by 328 runs, with all-rounder Corbin Bosch taking his first five wickets in test cricket to go along with his first century.
In the afternoon session, Zimbabwe was bowled out for 208 after setting a lofty mark of 537 for victory. Bosch, who finished the visitors’ first innings at 100 not out, grabbed 5-43, while debutant seamer Codi Yusuf added 3-22.
Wellington Masakadza top scored for the hosts with 57 and captain Craig Ervine managed 49, but for the rest it was a parade of wickets as Zimbabwe began the day on 32-1.
