Netizens are criticizing renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah for removing a Facebook post in which he defended Diljit Dosanjh in the midst of the recent Sardaar Ji 3 controversy.
Online abuse erupted after Shah removed a post in which he denounced the criticism directed at Dosanjh for costarring with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. Shortly after he removed it, people on the social media site X (previously Twitter) started making fun of the actor for making what they referred to as a “U-turn.”
“So, Naseeruddin Shah has deleted his post,” a person wrote beside a screenshot of the removed post. But not from his thoughts, only from social media. He has never and will never back Bharat. “Perhaps he remembered where the money comes from,” remarked another cynically.
