Tuesday saw a significant terrorist attack in Mastung, as terrorists invaded the tehsil office, three private banks, and offices. They set vehicles on fire and opened fire indiscriminately, resulting in a heavy gunfight with security personnel and civilian casualties.
A large detachment of police and security personnel responded quickly to the attack, cordoning off the area and fighting the terrorists with fire, according to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind.
The tehsil office, nearby government buildings, and banks were also targeted by the attackers. The terrorists were repulsed by security troops that quickly surrounded the area, according to Shahid Rind.
Three terrorists were wounded and two terrorists were killed during the gunfight.
