Aminu Dantata, one of the richest businessmen in Nigeria, passed away in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday and was buried in Saudi Arabia.
The 94-year-old business magnate Dantata, who is the uncle of Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa, has three marriages, twenty-one children, and 121 grandchildren.
After Saudi officials authorized his burial in their nation, his body was moved from Abu Dhabi, where he passed away, to the holy city of Medina.
Prior to his burial at the Al-Baqi cemetery, senior Nigerian government officials participated in the funeral prayers at the holy prophet mosque.
He wanted to be laid to rest in the city he loved and where Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, lived and passed away.
