Before the July 21 Senate election, the opposition and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration have reached a wide understanding to maximize the political situation, according to sources on Thursday.
According to the sources, the two parties agreed to resolve the issue by an uncontested vote during a late-night meeting between Wednesday and Thursday.
Sources claim that the discussions resulted in a close agreement on a 6-5 formula, which would give the opposition five members and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) six.
Still unsolved, though, are a few internal PTI and provincial government problems.
