According to sources on Thursday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed up to three suspected terrorists in a late-night raid in Bannu.
According to a provincial anti-terror police official, the militants who were killed were members of the banned Zarar and Gul Bahadur organizations.
The spokesperson went on to identify them as Mudassir, Turab, and Mohammad Hussain, adding that the three Bannu natives were wanted by the police for terrorist-related offenses.
Following the successful raid, the suspects’ motorcycle, explosives, and automatic weapons—including a Kalashnikov and a pistol—were found by the CTD.
