Andre Russell, an all-rounder for the West Indies, will make his farewell appearance at Sabina Park in Jamaica during the forthcoming T20 International series against Australia, marking the end of his international career.
The 16-man West Indies team for the series, which starts on July 20, includes the all-rounder. Russell will get the chance to wrap out his international career on home soil as Sabina Park will host the first two games of the series.
Russell, a two-time T20 World Cup champion, was instrumental in the West Indies’ 2012 and 2016 championship runs. Since 2019, he has just continued to play in the T20 format.
Russell is a potent lower-order batting option who has taken 61 wickets and amassed 1,078 runs in 84 Twenty20 Internationals.
