As Princess Anne approaches her 75th birthday, King Charles has surprised royal admirers with his most recent honor for her.
In honour of the Princess Royal’s decades of royal service, the Royal Mint has unveiled the first official UK currency, a £5 piece.
The coin was released by the Royal Mint on Instagram with the caption, “Join us as we celebrate Her Royal Highness.” Featuring her official coat of arms and an official picture by John Swannell, the Princess Royal celebrates her 75th birthday with the first coin created in her honor in the United Kingdom.
