Spies, the new single from British singer and songwriter Robbie Williams’ next album Britpop, which is scheduled for release on October 10, marks his comeback.
“After I left Take That in 1995, I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release,” Williams stated in a statement, according to RollingStone.
“It was the pinnacle of Britpop and a golden age for British music,” he continued. The new record is even more energetic and anthemic than its predecessors, raw, and features more guitars. As a piece of work, I’m incredibly proud of this, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.
