Three individuals were murdered in an apparent explosion at the Monterey Park training facility of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD).
The bomb squad and other specialized units are housed at the department’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) facility, where the incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
The explosion occurred close to a law enforcement car, according to the footage. According to reports, the explosion happened as workers disposing of bombs were working with explosives.
The scene was attended by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. It was unknown at this time if there were any more injuries. The cause of the explosion was being looked into by authorities.
