Jane Marriott, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, has stated that she plans to take a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) trip straight from Pakistan to Manchester.
After taking a domestic PIA flight from Karachi to Islamabad, the envoy posted a video message announcing her intention to take a direct PIA flight to Manchester soon. She applauded the reestablishment of direct air connectivity between the two nations and called her experience on the national carrier “enjoyable”.
“Come soar with me! My PIA flight from Karachi to Islamabad was enjoyable. In a statement posted on X (previously Twitter), Marriott said, “The UK has lifted its air safety ban, a milestone reflecting the hard work of aviation experts in Pakistan and the UK.”
