QUETTA: Provincial authorities said that security concerns have led to the suspension of mobile internet data services throughout Balochistan, including in Quetta, the provincial capital.
On Wednesday, officials affirmed that the suspension, which is a preventive security measure, impacts many parts of the province.
In a number of districts, including Kohlu, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Loralai, and Ziarat, internet services have been interrupted, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
In Qila Saifullah, Nushki, and Harnai, internet connection has also been blocked.
