After a poor showing in the most recent series against the West Indies, Pakistan’s top-order batsman Babar Azam has fallen to third place in the most recent ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings.
Babar’s overall rating points dropped to 751 as he only scored 56 runs at an average of 18.66 over three games.
Consequently, India’s ODI captain Rohit Sharma has surpassed him and is currently ranked second.
Mohammad Rizwan, the ODI captain of Pakistan, has also fallen one spot, going from 21st to 22nd with 602 points.
With 590 points, opening batsman Fakhar Zaman dropped four spots to 27th place after missing the West Indies ODIs due to injury.
