At the main Independence Day celebration in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared the establishment of an Army Rocket Force.
He honored the nation’s founding principles of discipline, religion, and togetherness. Inviting political parties and interested parties to join a “charter of stability,” PM Shehbaz emphasized that this initiative serves the interests of the entire country and is not just for economic recovery. “Differences may persist elsewhere, but we stand united for Pakistan,” he remarked.
Congratulating the country on its 78th Independence Day, the prime minister acknowledged the sacrifices made by the country’s ancestors and said that the fight was a victory for the Two-Nation Theory rather than just a matter of liberation. He paid respects to Allama Iqbal, Quaid-i-Azam, and all the leaders of the Pakistan Movement.
