RAWALPINDI: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), flatly denied media reports on Thursday that claimed certain remarks made by Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), in Brussels.
“The army chief made no remark about the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Brussels,” Lt Gen Chaudhry told reporters during a press conference.
The military spokeswoman emphasized that COAS Munir did not participate in any interviews and that the Field Marshal did not express any “apology” either.
