KARACHI: Farhan Ghani, the brother of Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani and a PPP leader and chairman of Chanesar Town, has been charged by Karachi police.
A government employee named Hafiz Sohail submitted the complaint at the Ferozabad police station, claiming that on August 22, he was attacked while overseeing fiber cable construction on a service road off Shahrah-e-Faisal.
In addition to other legal restrictions, the FIR charged Farhan and his five friends with terrorism and attempted murder.
The town chairman and PPP leader turned himself in overnight, along with four of his assistants, and is now being held by the police.
