John Two Guns White Calf, a well-known Blackfeet chief, was sacrificed on the altar of cancel culture.
Currently, a national movement is emerging to protect Native American history in general and the legacy of the indigenous hero in particular against extremist ideology.
For 48 years, White Calf represented the Washington Redskins in the NFL. He was among the most well-known Native Americans of the 20th century before to being granted that title.
In the national struggle against wokiness, pro-native American activists are fighting to preserve indigenous traditions.
Afterwards, however, the politically connected National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), with its headquarters in Washington, D.C., obliterated his name, image, accomplishments, and truly him.
The NFL also eliminated White Calf. The Redskins changed their name to Commanders in 2021 after ditching its White Calf picture logo in 2020 due to growing pressure, much of which was brought on by the NCAI.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, historian and “How the Redskins Got Their Name” author Andre Billeaudeaux of San Diego, California, said, “The Redskins were the only minority representation in the entire NFL and it was a real person, not a mascot.”
The Open Society Foundations, which get funding from George Soros, are among the NCAI’s supporters. The organization is also funded by US taxpayers.
Its own website states that it is supported by seven government bureaucracies, including the Department of Defense, as Fox News Digital previously revealed.

The NCAI “has tracked the retirement of more than 200 unsanctioned Native ‘themed’ mascots since 2019, and has supported legislation banning the use of these mascots in multiple states,” the group said in a statement to Fox News Digital last year. This goes beyond the removal of Native logos and representations in professional sports.
