Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sher Afzal Marwat stated on Saturday that only PTI founder Imran Khan was his boss, slamming the party’s show-cause notice handed to him earlier today.
“If Imran Khan asks me to apologize, [I will]. A proper way would have been for Omar Ayub to call me personally and urge me to give a public apology,” Marwat told Geo News’ Shahzad Iqbal.
The erstwhile ruling party, the PTI, served Marwat with a show-cause notice after he made allegations against former chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
In the warning, the PTI requested that Marwat send an apologetic letter within two days, stating that if a sufficient response was not provided, action would be taken in accordance with party policy.
“I do not put my arms down when facing the barrel of a gun,” Marwat said, who has been slamming other party leaders, including founder member Hamid Khan.
While declaring his intention to continue his diatribe against other party members, Marwat stated that he will provide “satisfying” reactions to those leaders who bring complaints against him.
“The manner in which the show-cause notice was issued was to weaken PTI and divert the party’s attention from the protests,” he said.
The PTI leader stated that the party leaders were not holding protests and advised them not to look to Khan for every decision.
