The ATC authorized Gandapur’s pre-arrest bail and granted him interim bail until April 17.
Raja Zahoorul Hassan, Gandapur’s lawyer, told the court that while his client was listed in the first information report (FIR), he had no involvement in the vandalism event because he was not present at the scene. The lawyer further claimed that, despite facing 50 FIRs, Gandapur was not even allowed to appear in court.
Duty Judge Raja Jawad presided over the case, and pre-arrest bail was granted.
Warrants are suspended
Gandapur, on the other hand, presented himself to the Sessions Court in Islamabad, causing his arrest warrants filed in cases registered at the Bani Gala and Golra police stations to be cancelled.Gandapur appeared before Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah in the case filed at Bani Gala police station, and Judicial Magistrate Abdul Ghafoor Kakar presided over the hearing in the Golra police station.
